Pakistan has all types of weather throughout the year. Summer starts in April and ends in September. From October to February there is the winter season. A short season of two months march and April is the spring season. From August to October is monsoon season. Day-to-day atmospheric condition is known as weather. According to climate, Pakistan is divided into four climate regions. Sub-tropical continental highlands consist of Northern highlands, Northern western mountains, Western mountains, and Mountain ranges of Balochistan. In this region the winter is extremely cold while summer is moderate, almost the whole year weather is rainy. Sub-tropical continent plateaus region consists of western parts of Balochistan. The climate of this region is extremely hot and dry, winds are mostly dusty. The rainy season is in January and February. Sub-tropical continental low and area consist of the upper plain Indus of Punjab and lower plain Indus of Sindh since the desert of Thal and Cholistan are found here so, the wind and thunderstorms take place and summers are very hot. Tropical coastland consists of coastal areas of Sindh and Balochistan. The average temperature here is 32°c.
In Pakistan, summer rains accompany the monsoon while winter rain accompanies the western depression. Pakistan is low pressure area in summer so winds move towards Pakistan from the high zone. These winds cause rainfall in June, August, and September.
Pakistan the fifth hottest country in world:
Pakistan was hotter than half of the world with Dadu, Jacobabad. Summer 2022 is expected to be hotter than average. We have not seen much drier and warmest months as March and April since 1961. There is a remarkable increase in heat waves seen during summer in the last 10 years. In 2015, 2000 people died due to heat waves in the past, May and June were hot months, but now March and April are especially hot. In the month of April, a temperature of 49°c was recorded in Jacobabad. Pakistan’s temperature is set to rise further in the near future because Pakistan gets about 60% of its energy from coal, oil, and natural gas from burning of their fuels emits greenhouse gases that heat up the planet and the cost of global warming. Global warming is a scientific phenomenon in which earthworms up due to carbon dioxide, and climatic change is happening due to global warming. The climate change ministry also has issued a sensitivity alert to authorities. Melting of glaciers, increasing temperature on earth excessive rains, famine, and climate change all are a fact. The black exhaust released by the industries and other emissions contains dioxide nitrous oxide, methane, and water vapors which form a blanket in which the heat of the sun is trapped which causes the temperature to increase. If we plant more trees in Pakistan, we can combat this climate change very well.
