Gold costs Rs2800 more per tola, to Rs142,000

On Monday, the price of 24 karat gold per tola in the local market was raised by 2,800 rupees per tola, bringing it up to 142,000 rupees. This is an increase from the previous day’s price of 139,200 rupees per tola.

According to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the price of ten grammes of 24 karat and 22 karat gold both grew by Rs2400 and were sold at Rs121,742 compared to Rs119,342; the price of ten grammes of gold jumped to Rs111,597 compared to its sale at Rs109,396, however.

Both the price of silver per tola and the price of silver per ten grammes did not change from their previous levels of Rs1570 and Rs1,346.02 respectively. According to the information provided by the organisation, the price of gold on the international market went down by $3 and was traded at $1854 compared to its selling price of $1851.
