Gold prices fall in Pakistan, global market over six days.

Gold prices in both Pakistan and the international market recorded a downward trend over the past week, with a cumulative decline of Rs6,200 per tola locally and $62 per ounce globally.

According to data from the All Sindh Saraf Association, gold fell by $36 per ounce and Rs3,600 per tola on Monday, $5 and Rs500 on Tuesday, $2 and Rs200 on Wednesday, and $10 and Rs1,000 on Friday.

On Saturday, international prices dropped by $9 per ounce, while domestic rates slipped by Rs900 per tola. Markets remained closed on Thursday due to the August 14 holiday.

By the end of the week, gold was priced at Rs356,200 per tola in Pakistan and $3,335 per ounce in the global market.

Meanwhile, silver prices showed a marginal increase. In the past six days, international silver rates rose by $0.18 per ounce to $37.98, while domestic prices gained Rs24 per tola to reach Rs4,037.
