Saudi Riyal to PKR rate today – 27 June 2025.

The Saudi Riyal (SAR) registered a minor decline against the Pakistani Rupee (PKR) in the open market on Friday, as the buying rate fell by one paisa to Rs75.63, according to currency exchange dealers.

The selling rate also dipped by one paisa, now standing at Rs76.20.

The slight dip comes after a week of marginal fluctuations in the currency market, driven by remittance activity and routine demand dynamics.

Despite the minor change, the SAR to PKR exchange rate remains among the most searched queries, especially due to the significant contribution of overseas Pakistanis in the Kingdom to Pakistan’s remittance inflows.

At the latest buying rate, 1,000 Saudi Riyals would fetch Rs75,630 in the open market. For families dependent on remittances and currency dealers catering to Hajj and travel-related demand, the SAR’s daily valuation holds considerable importance.

Currency exchange enables international trade, investment, and travel by allowing the conversion of one nation’s currency into another. For Pakistan, monitoring currency exchange rates—especially against the US Dollar, UAE Dirham, and Saudi Riyal—is critical to managing economic stability.

A strong rupee helps curb inflation and reduce import costs, while a weaker rupee can benefit exporters by making Pakistani goods more competitive in global markets. For millions of overseas Pakistanis sending money home, currency strength directly affects the rupee value their families receive.

According to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), workers’ remittances rose by 28.8 percent during the first eleven months of FY2024–25, totaling $34.9 billion between July 2024 and May 2025.

In May 2025 alone, Pakistan received $3.69 billion—the highest monthly inflow of the fiscal year. Saudi Arabia emerged as the top source, contributing $913.3 million, followed by $754.2 million from the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
