SAUDI ARABIA: COAS General Asim and MBS review bilateral relations. On Monday, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS) and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir met at the winter camp in AlUla, Saudi Arabia, to discuss bilateral ties between the two countries.
In addition to a variety of matters of shared interest, the two leaders reportedly spoke about measures to improve relations between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.

The press agency also reported that the national security adviser, Dr Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban, and the defence minister, Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, attended the reception.
Ameer Khurram, Pakistan’s ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as other Pakistani government representatives, also attended the reception as COAS General Asim and MBS review bilateral relations.
Last week, the army leader traveled to Saudi Arabia for the first time. The visit takes place at a pivotal time as Pakistan struggles with yet another balance of payments crisis.
