Bus crashes in China, 27 killed
Beijing: In southwest China, 47 people travelled to the covid-19 quarantine facility when the bus crashed sideways mid-way through. The road-siders called the incident country one of the most significant road incidents.
The incident happened right on the main highway in rural Guizhou province. The local police said that the bus “flipped onto its side.” Right after the incident, around 20 people were taken immediately for instant treatment & were released right away.
The provincial government clarifies that the incident happened around 2:40 am when the bus took 47 passengers. The passengers were being taken to a quarantined place to prevent Covid-19, added police.
“The heinous incident occurred, resulting in major causalities. However, post the incident, the authorities took care of the injured & sent them to safe places. Apart from that, the deceased families have also been informed & the entire post-processing is being carried out”, the police further informed the press.
The reason behind why the passengers were taken for quarantine is still oblivious. According to the police, it is yet to be confirmed whether all of them were infected, were taken away for safety or just had been living in the same spot.
Talking about the covid-19 situation in the Guizhou province, around 900 people have been infected just in the past 2 days. This is a province which is home to 6 million people in total & even been locked for September.

The unfortunate incident, however, had been recorded by the locals & is widely shared on the internet. First, the top of the bus is seen wholly crumpled. However, the second photo being shared is of nighttime, which shows all the passengers & the driver wearing hazmat suits—the kind of suits that the Chinese still wear to protect themselves from covid-19.
AFP responded to the incident, saying, “This feeling cannot simply be represented by just lighting a candle or saying RIP.” The organization, however, has not approved the pictures being shared yet.
