9 People died in Lucknow due to Torrential Rains

Lucknow: The city of Nawabs sees torrential rains this year resulting in 9 people dead so far. The recent claims that a wall came crashing down due to exceptionally heavy rains especially in the last 24 hours. So much so that the city also seems to water-clogged entirely.

In this catastrophe, the injured have been hospitalized in the city hospital & even have been reported to be completely out of danger. The chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, however, has announced around Rs4 Lac to the families of the dead in this natural disaster.

“The army enclave wall in the premise collapsed which resulted in some laborers living outside of that enclave” said by the joint Commissioner of Police, Piyush Mordia.

The police reached around 3AM & 9 bodies were pulled out of the debris & one was alive. The authorities announced around 4 in the morning for all schools to be shut down after the incessant rains.

Lucknow district administration has even asked all the citizens to be aware of all the old & dilapidated buildings. Leave your houses only when needed & completely avoid any jam-packed or traffic heavy places for the safety.

Furthermore, all the health care, hospitals, pharmacies & clinics are asked to stay alert in this hour of exceptional emergency.

According to the reports, the city of Nawabs has seen as rain in one day as it sees in one month otherwise. This could be highly terrorizing. Around 155.2 mm rainfall has been recorded so far in just one day. However, the average rainfall that the city sees is around 211.5 mm in September.
