Bihar: The mosque, submerged more than 30 years ago under the waters of the Hulwalia Dam in the Nawada district of Bihar, resurfaces when the water at the southern end of the reservoir dries up.

The mosque, named Nuri Masjid, was submerged after the Purwaria Dam was built in 1985, according to Siasat’s report. The appearance of the mosque floating in the water piqued the curiosity of local residents, and many young people were seen flocking to the site of the mosque.

Since the structure’s construction, locals have been seen wading through mud and mud to reach the mosque’s 30-foot-high parapet.

Visitors report that the building was completely intact after decades of flooding, with no slight damage to the structure. Earlier, when the water level dropped, only part of the dome of the mosque could be seen, and people could not see what it was.The mosque went outside to see the earth completely dry and satisfy their curiosity. Now they can easily walk around the mosque and enjoy the architecture of this building, the report said.

According to reports, this mosque existed before he began construction of Purwaria Dam in 1979. This place once had a large population that was displaced due to the construction of a dam. The entire area was acquired by the government and the people living there were relocated to Hadiya village in Rajauri block of Nawada district.
