Ratan Tata vs Cyrus Mystry, has tussle ended after latter’s demise?
Cyrus Mistry, former chairman of Tata sons’ company, died in a car crash on Sunday. The cementation ceremony was held today on Tuesday. From industrialists, politicians, many other big names from the business world to his Parsi family members, everyone showed up.
The deceased had a series of indifferences with Tata sons’ management, especially Ratan Tata. After his departure, the silence of Ratan Tata is creating a lot of noise for sure.
One of the former brand managers, Mukund Rajan, who also served under Cyrus Mistry released a statement about how there was an extreme bitterness between Ratan Tata & the deceased.
“There was a tussle between the two because Mr.Tata wasn’t ever happy because of some allegations & other misled judicial things but since things won’t ever resolve between the two now, one should leave everything behind & move on”, added Mukund Rajan.
He further added that “both Mr. Ratan & Mr. Cyrus wanted the best for Tatas & Indians should always appreciate & look at what he stood for.”

Rewinding the clock a bit, it was Ratan Tata only who had taken Mr. Cyrus Mistry under his wings but miscommunication led them part. There even was a judicial battle between the two. Kumund Rajan also shared that “Cyrus Mistry always had the best intentions for the company & he also knew that Rata Tata was misinformed & miscommunicated by someone in between. He knew the kind of future I wanted for the company.”
The legal battle for him was not about going against Mr. Ratan but more about protecting his honor.
