Country can’t be work as long as NAB is there: Khaqan Abbasi

Former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi stated on Tuesday that the country’s affairs could not be managed as long as the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) was present.

“The NAB chairman will have to be held answerable. If the facts come to the surface, the reality of the NAB will become apparent,” Abbasi said.

“There are institutions of law and accountability in the country,” he stated.

“Institutions such as Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE) are there in the country,” he added.

“The NAB is needed only to influence the politics of the country,” Abbasi maintained.

“Where was Imran Khan when the economy of the country was collapsing?” he flayed.

“Today, they (PTI) are demanding elections. I am giving the date. Elections will be held in October 2023,” he declared.

“From today, electricity load-shedding will be less than three-and-a-half hours in a day,” he added.
