Nisar was sentenced to death by a court in Islamabad on Friday after a charge of murdering 10-year-old Farishta after rape was proven against him.
The accused was sentenced to death and fined Rs1 million by Additional District and Sessions Judge Humayun Dilawar.
It should be noted that in 2019, a 10-year-old girl named Farishta Bibi was raped and murdered in Islamabad.
Imran Khan, the prime minister at the time, took notice of the incident and directed the authorities to provide justice to the little girl’s family.
