A petition seeking the dismissal of Hamza Shehbaz from the position of Chief Minister has been scheduled for a hearing in the Lahore High Court (LHC) on Saturday.
The cause list that will be used for hearings has been distributed by the registrar’s office of the LHC.
The petitions that were submitted by MPA Sibtain Khan and others will be heard by Chief Justice Muhammad Ameer Bhatti.
The interpretation of Article 63 was given by the Supreme Court.
According to the appeal, Hamza Shehbaz is no longer permitted to occupy the position of Chief Minister of Punjab since it violates his legal rights.
The petitioner requested that Hamza Shehbaz be removed from his position as Chief Minister in the court’s ruling.
In addition to this, the petition said that Hamza Shehbaz’s act of transfer posting ought to be ruled invalid and unconstitutional.
It is important to take into account the fact that the Chief Justice has granted further time to Hamza Shehbaz, the Chief Secretary, and any other parties who choose to file their responses. A penalty of one hundred thousand rupees (Rs.) has been imposed by the Chief Justice.
