Girls sit on floor at Karachi exam centre due to lack of chairs

Due to the mismanagement of the Board of Secondary Education, Karachi, hundreds of girl students taking the secondary school certificate (SSC) examinations were forced to solve their question papers while sitting on the floor due to a lack of chairs at the examination center.

According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the Government Murad Memon School in Malir has a seating capacity of 450 to 500 students.

Nonetheless, the board of secondary education issued roll number slips to up to 800 female students who were scheduled to take their exams at Government Murad Memon School.

Due to a lack of seating capacity in the school, at least 300 female students were forced to solve their question papers while sitting on the floor.

The girl students taking the SSC exams complained about the difficulties they faced due to a lack of basic facilities at the examination centre, such as chairs and fans.
