Schools banned from holding summer camps

The Lahore Education Authority (LEA) announced Thursday that schools will not be allowed to hold summer camps due to the extreme heat.

The Lahore Education Authority stated on Thursday that schools that violate the authority’s orders will face legal consequences.

Summer camps are an annual tradition in schools where students participate in primarily co-curricular activities such as sports for mental health.

The decision was made by the Lahore Education Authority in light of the country’s recent heatwave.

First, the school administration will receive a warning letter for violating this order. Second, if the violation is proven, the school will be fined heavily.

Pervaiz Akhtar, CEO of Education, stated that if any school violates this order, the law will take its course.
