Toeing the line of the country’s leading motorcycle manufacturers, local motorcycle companies raised the prices of their models from Rs3,000 to Rs15,000 on Tuesday.
The prices of Metro, Unique and Super Star 70cc motorcycles have increased by Rs3,000. These businesses have issued circulars informing customers of the new prices.
The price of the New Asia cargo loader rickshaw and the Road Prince cargo loader 100-125cc each increased by Rs5,000.
The Road Prince cargo loader 150cc is now Rs10,000 more expensive, and the Road Prince loader 200cc is now Rs15,000.
The Road Prince rickshaw 200cc will now cost Rs10,000 more as well.
The Road Prince company also issued a circular, stating that the new prices will take effect on June 1.
