The federal government is considering all possibilities, including the possibility of deaths during the Pakistan Tehreek-i- Insaf’s long march towards Islamabad, as evidenced by a directive to police to keep coffins on hand.
According to the channel’s sources, the government has decided to show no mercy to the marchers.
They revealed that the government had now called in contingents of police, Rangers, and FC from provinces to keep the march from devolving into chaos.
They added that these contingents would begin arriving in the federal capital tonight.
Former Prime Minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan announced yesterday (Sunday, May 22, 2022) after the party’s core committee meeting in Peshawar that his supporters would embark on a long march on May 25 in order to force the ‘imported’ government to declare general elections immediately.
