A fire ripped through a bazaar in Halan Shumali, a suburban village of Haveli Kahuta in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), destroying goods worth millions of rupees.
Despite the fact that fire trucks arrived at the scene, it was not enough to extinguish the fire, and the shopkeepers had to do their part as well.
Later, the Deputy Commissioner, SP, and Tehsildar Haveli arrived at the scene to oversee the relief and rescue efforts.
