On Friday, a man fatally shot his wife in Sahiwal over a domestic dispute.
According to the police, the accused, identified as Asif, resided in Khanewal.
“Asif had traveled to Sahiwal to reconcile with his estranged wife, Rimsha. “However, he opened fire on her in a fit of rage,” they added.
“As a result, his wife passed away at the scene, while his mother-in-law Shehnaz and brother-in-law sustained life-threatening injuries,” they said.
“The wounded were transported to a hospital for medical care. They maintained that domestic issues between the couple were the cause of the murder.
