KE fails to control load shedding in Karachi

Despite an increased supply of electricity from the national grid, Karachi-Electric (K-E) has failed to control load shedding, with different areas of the city now experiencing 10-12 hours of power outages.

The heat has made matters worse, as the weather service has forecast extremely hot weather for the provincial capital and other parts of Sindh beginning tomorrow (Friday, May 13, 2022).

According to the forecast, there will be a two-day break in the sea breeze, allowing the maximum temperature to rise to 40 degrees Celsius.
