A Pakistani man has won the Dh15 million grand prize in the latest Big Ticket live draw in Abu Dhabi, with the jackpot worth approximately Rs. 1.14 billion based on the exchange rate cited in the original report.
Shaukat Aftab won the top prize in Big Ticket Series 290 with ticket number 245556. The winning ticket was selected during the live draw by the previous month’s winner, Reynaldo Herboso of the Philippines.
Following the draw, Big Ticket contacted Aftab by phone to inform him about the win.
Expressing his surprise, Aftab thanked the organizers and said he was extremely happy to learn that his ticket had won the jackpot.
Pakistani winner initially doubted the news
Aftab initially appeared uncertain about the announcement. He later watched the live draw on YouTube and checked the winning ticket number before confirming that the jackpot-winning ticket belonged to him.
His Dh15 million prize makes him the latest major winner from Pakistan in the Abu Dhabi-based Big Ticket draw.
Other Big Ticket Series 290 winners
The latest draw also awarded several other major prizes.
Ravindranathan Vinesh, an Indian expatriate living in Dubai, won a new Land Rover Defender in the Dream Car series with ticket number 035787.
Five participants won Dh100,000 each:

The Big Spin segment also produced three cash winners.
Jinkie Sandoval, a Filipino national living in Dubai, won Dh50,000, while Mohammed Kamal Hossan, a Bangladeshi national residing in Oman, won Dh500,000. An Indian national living in Sharjah received Dh150,000.
Next Big Ticket prize reaches Dh20 million
With Series 290 concluded, Big Ticket is set to launch its next promotion with a larger Dh20 million grand prize.
The upcoming promotion will also offer two luxury vehicles. A Nissan Patrol will be offered in the October 3 draw, followed by a Range Rover Velar in the November 3 draw.
The next Big Spin contestants include MD Nasir Uddin from Bangladesh, living in Saudi Arabia, with ticket number 037559; Arun Kumar Yada Bhagelu Yadav from India, living in Dubai, with ticket number 086721; and Taha Ahmed from Egypt, living in Dubai, with ticket number 064400.
The latest result adds another major jackpot win involving a Pakistani participant to Big Ticket’s series of draws in Abu Dhabi.
