Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has taken serious notice of the use of a royal-style carriage by the Islamabad Inspector General of Police and Chief Commissioner during an Independence Day ceremony at D-Chowk.

The prime minister expressed displeasure over the conduct of the two senior officials.

The Establishment Division has been directed to seek explanations from both officials over their use of the carriage during the public ceremony.
