Book Launch: "Nashai Aan" by Veer Sipahi

LahoreAl-Qalam Foundation International has announced the publication of “Nashai Aan,” a landmark collection of contemporary Punjabi Sufi poetry by celebrated poet Veer Sipahi.

The 300+ page volume, priced at Rs. 1500/-, was officially launched as part of the Foundation’s ongoing efforts to preserve, promote, and modernize Punjabi literary heritage.

The book “Nashai Aan” presents a bold and introspective body of work that bridges classical Sufi traditions with contemporary Punjabi expression.

Veer Sipahi’s poetry navigates themes of spiritual intoxication, social consciousness, existential longing, and the cultural identity of Punjab.

In the foreword, Prof. Nasir Basheer notes that the collection reflects a voice that speaks from the soil of Punjab yet resonates with universal human questions.

The title itself—Nashai Aan—captures the essence: a poet intoxicated not by wine, but by words, truth, and divine love.
