Google Unveils Gemini 3.6 Flash and New AI Models

Google has unveiled three new additions to its Gemini artificial intelligence family, introducing Gemini 3.6 Flash, Gemini 3.5 Flash-Lite, and Gemini 3.5 Flash Cyber.

The company says the latest models deliver improvements in coding, reasoning, multimodal capabilities, and cybersecurity while offering greater efficiency for developers and enterprise users.

Gemini 3.6 Flash Becomes Google’s New Flagship Workhorse

The third model announced is Gemini 3.5 Flash Cyber, a specialized AI model designed to support cybersecurity professionals.

Google said the model has been fine-tuned to identify security vulnerabilities, assist with threat analysis, and help developers resolve cybersecurity issues more efficiently.

The company noted that Flash Cyber offers a lower cost per token than larger AI models while remaining optimized for security-related tasks.
