Aamir Khan Faces Death Threat After Third Marriage Sparks Protests

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan has come under renewed controversy following his third marriage, with protests by extremist Hindu groups escalating into a reported public death threat.

According to Indian media reports, demonstrations were held against the actor after his marriage to Gauri Spratt. Protesters burnt an effigy of Khan and raised slogans accusing him of repeatedly marrying Hindu women. The allegations were made without publicly available evidence.

Minister criticizes Aamir Khan

The controversy intensified after Maharashtra minister Nitish Rane criticized Aamir Khan’s personal life and his marriages to Hindu women, adding to the public debate surrounding the actor’s latest marriage.

Extremist leader announces reward

The situation escalated further when extremist Hindu religious leader Jagadguru Paramhansa Acharya reportedly announced a reward of ₹5 crore for anyone who kills Aamir Khan.

According to media reports, the religious leader repeated unverified allegations against the actor and claimed that he would also cover the legal expenses of anyone who carried out such an act.

The remarks have drawn widespread criticism and renewed concerns over hate speech and public safety.

No response from Aamir Khan

As of now, Aamir Khan and his representatives have not issued an official statement regarding the protests or the reported death threat.

It also remains unclear whether Indian law enforcement authorities have initiated legal proceedings over the extremist leader’s remarks.

Marriage to Gauri Spratt

Aamir Khan married his long-time friend Gauri Spratt in a private ceremony at his residence on July 5.

The actor was previously married to Reena Dutta and later to filmmaker Kiran Rao.

Actor has faced controversies before

This is not the first time Aamir Khan has faced political or religious controversy in India.

The actor has previously received threats over his public comments and social issues. However, the latest reported call for violence has reignited debate over hate speech, celebrity security, and the limits of political and religious rhetoric in the country.
