At the end of his stand-up show, Chris Rock took a swipe at Will Smith, who smacked the comedian on the podium at a high-profile event.
After being slapped across the face by King Richard star Jada Pinkett Smith for comparing Jada Pinkett Smith to GI Jane, the 57-year-old comedian spoke out.
“I am good,” Rock assured the crowd before his show at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. I’ve regained my hearing. Although it appeared to be a serious problem, it wasn’t.
Rock also appeared to make fun of Smith at the end of his performance. He told the crowd, “People who say words hurt have never been punched in the face.”
It appears that Rock made a sarcastic statement at his Fantasy Springs Resort Casino show, saying that he wouldn’t talk about the notorious altercation until “I get my money.”
When asked if he was OK, he replied: “I have a whole show and I’m not talking about that until I get paid.”
