Haval H6GT PHEV Launch in Pakistan Confirmed by Sazgar After Road Sightings Clarification

The buzz around the Haval H6GT PHEV Pakistan launch intensified after a coupe-style SUV was recently spotted on local roads, prompting speculation that Sazgar Engineering Works was conducting early testing ahead of an official debut.

The vehicle in question, however, was later clarified by Sazgar Engineering Works as a privately imported non-custom-paid unit and not part of any official road testing program. Despite the clarification, the company confirmed that the model is indeed planned for launch in Pakistan later this year.

Coupe SUV Coming to Pakistan Market

The upcoming Haval H6GT is a sportier version of the standard H6 platform, featuring a sloping coupe roofline, redesigned rear styling, and performance-orientated design elements aimed at differentiating it within the midsize SUV segment.

Sazgar has confirmed that the Pakistan launch will focus on the plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) variant, aligning with the growing shift toward electrified mobility in the local automotive market.

Performance and Hybrid Technology

International specifications of the Haval H6GT PHEV Pakistan launch model indicate a strong performance package. The vehicle is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine combined with an electric motor system, producing a combined output of approximately 430 horsepower and 642 Nm of torque.

The SUV is equipped with an all-wheel-drive system and a 35.4 kWh battery pack, allowing it to deliver a significant electric-only driving range of up to 183 kilometers under optimal conditions.

Acceleration figures place it among the more performance-focused hybrid SUVs in its category, with a 0 to 100 km/h time of approximately 4.58 seconds.

Market Positioning in Pakistan

The upcoming H6GT PHEV is expected to be positioned as a flagship offering within Haval’s local lineup, targeting buyers seeking premium performance, fuel efficiency, and hybrid technology in one package.

Pricing has not yet been finalized, as Sazgar indicated that final figures will depend on upcoming federal budget policies and taxation structure affecting hybrid and plug-in hybrid vehicles.

Growing Hybrid SUV Demand

The introduction of the Haval H6GT specs Pakistan model reflects the increasing demand for hybrid and plug-in hybrid SUVs in the country, driven largely by rising fuel costs and a gradual shift toward energy-efficient mobility solutions.

If launched as planned, the H6GT PHEV could strengthen Haval’s position in Pakistan’s competitive SUV market and expand consumer options in the premium hybrid segment.
