Inside the Rise of Karachi’s Alleged ‘Cocaine Queen’ Anmol Pinky

KARACHI: New information has emerged about an alleged narcotics network linked to Anmol, also known as “Pinky,” who was arrested in Karachi’s Garden area on charges related to cocaine production and distribution, according to The Asian Mirror.

Investigative sources say Anmol left her home at the age of 14 with aspirations of entering the modeling industry. During this period, she reportedly became part of elite party circles. Sources allege that she later married a lawyer with suspected links to an international cocaine trafficking ring, after which she became involved in the narcotics trade.

After her divorce, Anmol allegedly married a police officer and gradually expanded her operations with the support of her three brothers. Investigators claim she learnt cocaine production techniques through online research before establishing her own brand within the city’s underground drug market.

Sources further allege that Anmol was arrested by Punjab Police nearly five years ago but was later released after an alleged bribe of Rs70 million. These claims have not been independently confirmed by authorities.

According to investigators, cocaine consignments were allegedly transported from Lahore to Karachi by train using two female couriers. The narcotics were reportedly handed over at railway stations to motorcycle riders, who then distributed the consignments to dealers across different parts of the city.

Law enforcement officials say the network was structured in a highly compartmentalized manner. Members reportedly operated independently and rarely interacted directly with one another. Financial transactions were allegedly routed through bank accounts to avoid detection.

Investigators have also claimed that Anmol owns a hotel in Gilgit and that her brother Nasir’s girlfriend played an active role in supplying cocaine at private parties in Karachi. Two of Anmol’s brothers had previously been arrested by Karachi Police in separate narcotics-related cases, according to sources.

Authorities believe the alleged network generated millions of rupees in monthly profits. However, law enforcement agencies have yet to officially verify several of the claims circulating in media reports, and investigations remain ongoing.
