Fight between JWP workers, Qasim Suri at hotel in Islamabad

Party workers of the Jamhoori Wattan Party (JWP) clashed with PTI leader Qasim Suri at an Islamabad hotel.

When a group of people misbehaved with JWP chief Shahzain Bugti at Masjid-e-Nabawi, they chanted slogans against Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s delegation.

A group of anti-PTI chanters barged into a hotel where Qasim Suri and other PTI leaders were sitting, according to the police.

The PTI leaders and JWP supporters got into a scuffle, after which the JWP supporters fled the scene.

According to Qasim Suri’s video statement, he was sitting in a hotel room when a group of people came in and attacked him and his friends.

“The people who were there chanted and threw chairs at the attackers,” he said.

The attack by JWP supporters was met with a strong response from the local population, according to Qasim Suri, who added that “the attackers fled the scene due to pressure from the masses.”

Suri has applied to the police station in Kohsar for the registration of an FIR.
