Motorola has officially launched the Edge 70 Pro, expanding its Edge 70 lineup after the introduction of the Edge 70 Fusion earlier this year and the standard Edge 70 late last year.
The new model positions itself as a premium performance-focused smartphone, combining a high-refresh-rate display, flagship-grade cameras, and a large battery.
Design and Display
The Motorola Edge 70 Pro features a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate, delivering smooth visuals for gaming and everyday use. The panel supports up to 5,200 nits peak brightness, making it suitable for outdoor visibility.
The device measures just 7.29mm in thickness and weighs around 190 grams. It uses a plastic frame with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection on the front.

The phone is available in Pantone Lily White, Pantone Titan, and Pantone Tea color options. Additional durability features include IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance, MIL-STD-810H certification, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.
Performance and Software
Powering the Edge 70 Pro is the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme chipset, paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS 4.1 storage.
The smartphone runs Android 16 out of the box, with Motorola promising three years of Android OS updates along with regular security patches.
Camera Setup
On the back, the Edge 70 Pro features a 50MP Sony Lytia 710 primary sensor with optical image stabilization, accompanied by a 50MP ultrawide camera. A multispectral sensor and LED flash complete the rear setup.
For selfies and video calls, the phone includes a 50MP front-facing camera with autofocus, targeting users who prioritize high-resolution front cameras.

The device is equipped with a 6,500mAh silicon-carbon battery, supporting 90W fast wired charging. It also offers 5W wired reverse charging, allowing users to power accessories or other devices when needed.
