Hyderabad Kingsmen wicketkeeper-batter Usman Khan etched his name into Pakistan Super League history by becoming the first player to score four centuries in the tournament.
The milestone came during PSL 11 in Hyderabad Kingsmen’s clash against Multan Sultans at the National Bank Stadium, where Usman produced a sensational match-winning knock under pressure.
Match-winning century under pressure
Chasing a challenging target, Hyderabad were reeling at 48 for 3 in 5.2 overs when Usman Khan walked to the crease, with the innings already slipping away and bowler Muhammad Ismail on a hat-trick.

After surviving an early let-off when Multan failed to appeal for a possible edge, Usman launched a stunning counterattack. He smashed 101 runs off just 47 balls, hammering 10 sixes and five fours, and single-handedly turned the contest on its head.
His aggressive innings carried Hyderabad Kingsmen to a memorable victory and sealed a historic night in PSL history.
Breaking the all-time PSL record
With his fourth century, Usman moved ahead of elite batters such as Babar Azam, Rilee Rossouw, Kamran Akmal, and Fakhar Zaman, all of whom have three PSL hundreds each.
| Player | PSL Centuries | Innings |
|---|---|---|
| Usman Khan | 4 | 33 |
| Kamran Akmal | 3 | 74 |
| Rilee Rossouw | 3 | 97 |
| Fakhar Zaman | 3 | 103 |
| Babar Azam | 3 | 106 |
A unique milestone against a former team
Adding to the significance, Usman scored his first three PSL centuries for Multan Sultans, the same franchise he dismantled with his record-breaking fourth ton.
He represented Multan across three seasons before being drafted by Hyderabad Kingsmen in the Diamond category ahead of PSL 11.
His earlier centuries came against Quetta Gladiators, Karachi Kings, and Islamabad United.
More PSL records to his name
Usman Khan also holds the record for the fastest century in PSL history, reaching triple figures off just 36 balls against Quetta Gladiators — underlining his reputation as one of the league’s most destructive batters.
The latest century not only secured a dramatic chase for Hyderabad but also further cemented Usman Khan’s status as one of the most explosive and impactful players the Pakistan Super League has ever produced.
