The Pakistani rupee demonstrated once again on Wednesday that its assault on the US dollar is far from over, as it overshadowed the greenback’s positive start in interbank trading.
The US dollar began the day up 13 paisas to Rs185.75, but the Pakistani rupee wasted no time staging a comeback.
Pakistan’s currency initially recovered today’s loss, but then gained 12 paisas in value and was no longer trading at Rs185.50.
Yesterday, the American currency closed at Rs185.62.
