Popular Pakistani actress Hania Aamir is preparing for her first professional boxing match after training with Usman Wazeer, the WBO world champion confirmed in a recent television interview.
Wazeer said he has been working with Aamir regularly and praised her natural talent and rapid progress in the sport.
“She is quickly developing the skills needed for competitive boxing and could soon step into the ring,” he said.
Reflecting on his own career, Wazeer highlighted a hat-trick of victories against Indian opponents, which have strengthened his international standing in boxing.
Former Pakistan cricket captain Shahid Afridi also joined the discussion, congratulating Wazeer on his achievements and praising his dedication and discipline.
Afridi announced support through the Shahid Afridi Foundation, noting that athletes like Wazeer—mentally strong, fit, and focused—deserve collective backing to compete at the highest level.
