Oppo Find N6 Becomes First Foldable With Crease Less Display

Oppo has introduced the Oppo Find N6, its latest foldable smartphone aimed at tackling long-standing issues such as visible screen creases and durability limitations.

The new device brings notable upgrades across hinge engineering, display technology, and internal hardware, positioning it as a premium contender in the foldable segment.

Redesigned hinge reduces crease visibility

The Find N6 retains a similar form factor to its predecessor but features a second-generation Titanium Flexion hinge that is 11% wider. Oppo has adopted a teardrop folding design to reduce stress on the display over time.

To further minimize the crease, the company used high-precision laser scanning and 3D liquid printing techniques to smooth out microscopic irregularities. This reduces surface unevenness significantly, helping the screen maintain a flatter appearance even after extended use.

An upgraded “auto-smoothing Flex Glass” layer—now 50% thicker—enhances durability and improves the display’s ability to return to its original shape after unfolding.

The device is certified for up to 600,000 folds with maintained flatness and up to 1 million folds overall.

Brighter dual displays with flagship visuals

The Find N6 features a 6.62-inch LTPO cover display and an 8.12-inch foldable inner screen, both supporting adaptive refresh rates from 1Hz to 120Hz.

Brightness levels reach up to 3,600 nits on the cover screen and 2,500 nits on the inner display, with support for Dolby Vision and 10-bit color, ensuring high-end visual performance in both indoor and outdoor conditions.

Performance powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5

Under the hood, the device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage.

The phone runs on Android 16 with ColorOS 16, and OPPO has committed to five years of Android updates and six years of security patches—one of the longest support cycles in the segment.

Advanced camera system with 200MP sensor

The Find N6 features a triple-camera setup headlined by a 200MP main sensor, complemented by a 50MP periscope telephoto lens and a 50MP ultra-wide camera.

A dedicated True Color sensor enhances color accuracy and white balance, while dual 20MP front cameras are available on both the inner and outer displays for selfies and video calls.

Bigger battery and fast charging

The device is equipped with a 6,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, offering improved endurance compared to previous models. It supports 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, ensuring fast top-ups.

Pricing and availability

Global availability for the Oppo Find N6 begins March 20, with the initial rollout focused on Asian markets.

Pricing starts at $1,400 for the base variant (12GB + 256GB), while higher-end configurations with 16GB RAM and up to 1TB storage go up to $1,696. Early buyers will also receive bundled accessories, including a magnetic case with wallet and stand.

A refined step forward for foldables

With meaningful improvements in hinge design, display durability, and battery capacity, the Find N6 reflects Oppo’s continued push to refine the foldable experience.

While competition in the segment is intensifying, the device’s focus on solving practical usability issues—particularly screen crease and longevity—could make it a strong option for users considering a foldable upgrade
