Australia-based Alpha Sports Group has entered into a strategic partnership with OZ Group, the owners of the newly introduced Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Sialkot Stallionz.
As part of the agreement, Alpha Sports Group has acquired a 75 percent ownership stake in the franchise. The partnership was finalized following the PSL team auction held on January 8.

Under the partnership, Alpha Sports Group and OZ Group will jointly oversee the franchise’s overall development, including team formation, performance enhancement, and long-term growth strategies.
In an official statement, Alpha Sports Group expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating that both partners aim to develop Sialkot Stallionz into a competitive and successful PSL team.
Ownership and Record-Breaking Bid
Sialkot Stallionz were officially introduced as one of the two new franchises ahead of PSL 11. The franchise ownership rights were acquired by OZ Developers, owned by Hamza Majeed and Kamil Khan, during the PSL 2026 auction held at the Jinnah Convention Centre.
OZ Developers secured the team with a record-breaking bid of Rs1.85 billion, making it the most expensive franchise purchase in PSL history.
PSL 11 Schedule
The eighth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 11) is scheduled to begin on March 26 and will be played across five venues in Pakistan. The partnership is expected to add fresh excitement for fans and strengthen the league’s global profile.
