Bomb Threat Targeting Parliament
The threatening email warned of a possible explosion inside the Parliament at 1:11 PM on February 13, according to Indian media reports. The message contained inflammatory slogans, references to Khalistan, and mentioned Afzal Guru, a convicted terrorist. It also claimed responsibility in the name of the Khalistan National Army.
Multiple Schools Evacuated
Several schools in Delhi received similar bomb threat emails between 8:30 AM and 9:00 AM, prompting a swift security response. Teams from the Delhi Police, the fire department, and bomb disposal squads were deployed to the campuses to conduct safety checks.
Students and staff were asked to evacuate as a precautionary measure. No suspicious objects have been found so far, and authorities are investigating the source of the emails.
