FPSC Issues New Instructions for CSS 2026 Exams Starting February 4

The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has issued additional instructions for candidates appearing in the CSS 2026 written examinations, which are scheduled to commence on February 4.

Valid CNIC or Passport Mandatory

According to the FPSC, candidates must ensure that their national identity cards (CNICs) or passports are valid and renewed before expiry. Authorities will not allow entry into examination halls if candidates present expired identity documents.

Reporting Time and Examination Conduct

The commission has directed candidates to reach their allotted seats at least 50 minutes before the start of the examination. Late arrivals may face restrictions on entry.

Candidates are also strictly prohibited from carrying any extra or unauthorized material into the examination halls. FPSC officials emphasized that examination rules will be enforced without exception.

Compliance with Guidelines Urged

The FPSC urged all candidates to strictly follow previously issued instructions in addition to the newly announced guidelines to ensure a smooth and transparent examination process.
