The UAE’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has prohibited Emirati citizens from travelling to the Republic of Mali, the ministry announced on Tuesday, December 9.
The ministry also urged UAE nationals currently in Mali to return home as soon as possible.
It highlighted the importance of strictly following official instructions and alerts, taking maximum precautions, and remaining vigilant.
Citizens presently in Mali have been advised to contact the ministry through its 24/7 emergency hotline dedicated to UAE nationals abroad.
