At least four people were killed and two police officers were injured in a gun attack by unidentified individuals near a check post in the Bara area of Khyber district on Wednesday.
Additionally, two assailants were killed in police retaliation.
On the other hand, ASI was assassinated by unknown persons at Peshawar’s Bara Secretary Bridge checkpoint. Law enforcement officers and rescuers rushed to the scene and transported the injured to the hospital.
The area has been cordoned off and law enforcement officers have begun searching for the perpetrators.
Earlier this month, five police officers were martyred in a rocket and gun attack in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa district of Dera Ismail Khan (KP). According to police officials, the rocket attack occurred as a result of the intense firefight.
