Punjab to change textbooks for middle and high schools students

The Punjab Education Curriculum Training and Assessment Authority (PECTAA) has decided to replace 29 textbooks for middle and high classes in the next academic year, 24NewsHD reported on Tuesday. The authority has begun work on preparing the new books.

According to officials, textbooks from classes 6 to 9 will be changed. Class 9 will see the biggest revision, with 18 books being replaced.

PECTAA has issued a letter to all educational institutions, informing them of the upcoming changes.

The authority has also advised publishers to prepare new printing orders to ensure timely availability of revised textbooks.
