The Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has fired two of its directors for committing irregularities.
Director of Air Transport Irfan Sabir was fired with immediate effect for committing irregularities while allowing additional flights to foreign airlines.
Irfan Sabir was fired despite the fact that his contract had not yet expired.
According to sources, the position of Director Air Transport has now been transferred to Additional Director Air Transport.
According to the sources, Director Security Air Commodore (retd) Salman Aziz’s contract was not extended, while Additional Director Security Colonel Rehan’s job was extended for six months.
