Crickter Shadab Khan performs Umrah

Shadab Khan, Pakistan’s all-rounder, has completed his Umrah (Islamic pilgrimage), during which he prayed for the country.

Shadab shared a photo of himself in Ahram in front of the Holy Kabaah on Twitter on Wednesday.

Shadab, who was unable to play in the limited-overs series against Australia due to fitness issues, accompanied his photo with a lengthy caption.

“Alhamdulillah, Umrah was performed. I prayed for my country, humanity, peace, prosperity, and, most importantly, everyone’s health. “May Allah’s blessings be upon you all,” said the star player.

Every year, hundreds of believers travel to Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah during Ramadan, seeking the Almighty’s blessings.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the pilgrimage was restricted for a few years, but the situation has improved recently, and the Kingdom has now allowed foreigners to participate.
