The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) Rawalpindi arrested a suspect from the Islamabad International Airport on Wednesday for concealing 78 capsules of heroin and four capsules of ice in his stomach.
According to an ANF spokesperson, the accused, Kashif Ahmed, a Buner resident, was apprehended as he prepared to board PIA flight PK-187 bound for Bahrain.
According to the spokesperson, “a total of 644 grammes of heroin and 35 grammes of ice were recovered from the capsules.”
“During routine checking, the accused was taken into custody,” he added.
“An Anti-Narcotics Act case has been filed against him.” “Another investigation into him is underway,” he said.
