In a shocking incident, officials have detained the suspected main figure in an international child pornography gang from Islamabad.
During interrogation, the suspect, Asim, admitted to committing heinous acts against seven minor girls, including close relatives, and selling explicit videos on the dark web for over a decade.
He was apprehended by the National Cybercrime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) from Islamabad following a major operation.
The suspect, who belonged to Lahore’s Ichhra area, made shocking revelations during the probe, admitting to his involvement in an international child pornography network.

Sources indicate that the suspect had been committing heinous acts with two minor girls from his own family for 14 years, recorded their videos and sold them on the dark web. He was also involved in similar acts with a total of seven girls, including close relatives.
Details of crimes
The suspect trapped the girls by showing them pornographic videos, encouraging them to participate in the acts. He recorded more than 50 videos of these heinous acts with minor girls that were seized.
He sold these videos on the dark web between 2008 and 2022 and also spread immoral content through platforms like WhatsApp, Telegram, and other social media.
Evidence was recovered from the suspect’s mobile data, social media accounts, and hard drives. This included proof of his international connections with users such as “Sassi” from Brazil and “Twinkle” from Portugal.
The groups involved were identified as “Rainbow” and “My Love Dolly Con”, where suspects were spreading immoral content through WhatsApp, Telegram and other platforms. International organisations, including Interpol, had reported on these activities.
Investigation process
Asim Muhammad Qasim was described as very clever, taking the NCCIA a whole year to track him down.
The first video linked to Asim was discovered in Singapore, sparking an investigation that extended to Pakistan. Help was sought from agencies in Singapore, Australia, Portugal, and Brazil to trace the suspect.

A case was registered against Asim, who was arrested with assistance from the Australian police. More individuals involved in the gang are expected to be identified and arrested as the investigation continues. This arrest could lead to further crackdowns on similar international child abuse rings.
