The District and Sessions Court in Lahore on Thursday extended the interim bail of Aroob Jatoi, wife of Saadur Rehman, alias Ducky Bhai, in a case related to the advertisement of an illegal gambling app.
Aroob Jatoi appeared in court after the expiry of her previous interim bail, which had been granted in connection with the ongoing investigation initiated by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA).
During the hearing, the court reviewed the progress of the investigation and decided to extend Aroob Jatoi’s interim bail until Nov 6.
The investigation officer was ordered by the court to submit a comprehensive report regarding the case before the next hearing. The direction aims to ensure transparency and clarity in the investigation process.
Earlier, on Oct 20, the court had resumed hearings in the case concerning the alleged advertising of a gambling app by social media influencer Saadur Rehman, alias Ducky Bhai, and others.

The court had summoned the co-accused, including Aroob Jatoi and manager Subhan, while adjourning further proceedings until November 3.
The hearing was conducted in the court of Judicial Magistrate Naeem Wattoo, where suspect Ducky Bhai was produced.
The case pertained to the alleged promotion and advertisement for a gambling application, an act that falls under cyber and moral offence categories being scrutinised by the authorities.
The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has formally registered a case against the accused individuals involved in the campaign.
