Two brothers shot and killed their two married sisters in the Rangpur area of district Khushab on Saturday.
Nasreen and Shazia Bibi were identified as the deceased.
The unfortunate sisters arrived at their brothers’ residence and stayed with them in the hope of finally resolving their disagreement as grown-up siblings regarding the distribution of their late father’s property.
Their brothers, Jabir and Nasir, however, have other plans and murder their sisters.
Police officers arrived on the scene and arrested both defendants. The bodies have been transferred to DHQ Muzaffargarh.
