Saudi Arabia declares Sept 23 holiday for National Day.
Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has declared Tuesday, September 23, a public holiday for both government and private sector employees to commemorate the Kingdom’s 95th National Day.
The annual celebration commemorates Saudi Arabia’s historic unification in 1932 under King Abdulaziz Al Saud and is marked across the country with cultural events, concerts, fireworks, and patriotic displays.
Employees in the public and private sectors, schools, banks, and government offices will all be closed for one day to celebrate the Kingdom’s national holiday.
This year’s celebration will be held under the theme ‘Our Pride Lies in Our Nature’, which honours Saudi Arabia’s cultural heritage and natural environment.
