Global Village Dubai’s reopening date announced

Dubai’s Global Village, one of the city’s most popular cultural and family attractions, has announced its reopening date for the 30th season.

The destination, famous for its mix of food stalls, funfair rides, live entertainment, and cultural pavilions, will welcome visitors once again from Wednesday, October 15, 2025, until Sunday, May 10, 2026.

With the upcoming season marking its 30th anniversary, organizers are promising the experience will be bigger, more vibrant, and packed with new attractions.

Symbol of Dubai’s diversity

Global Village is known for representing Dubai’s diversity through pavilions representing countries and communities from around the world.

Last year’s edition featured 30 pavilions representing over 90 cultures, offering visitors everything from traditional foods and crafts to cultural performances.

Entertainment and Attractions

Beyond the cultural showcases, Global Village offers carnival rides, fireworks, concerts by international performers, and family-friendly shows throughout its run.

The destination has become a beloved, budget-friendly day out for both residents and tourists.

30 Years of Growth

First launched as a small pop-up during the Dubai Shopping Festival in the mid-1990s, Global Village began in a car park near Dubai Creek. Over the years, it has shifted locations — from Oud Metha to Dubai Festival City — before moving to its permanent home at Dubailand in 2005, a site spanning 17.2 million square feet.
