Punjab to provide biscuits with milk in government schools.
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has called a special session of the School Meal Programme Committee to finalize the selection of the company that will supply milk and biscuits for students in government schools.
The initiative is set to roll out in eight districts of the province, including Bhakkar, Bahawalnagar, Dera Ghazi Khan, Layyah, Rajanpur, Mianwali, Muzaffargarh, and Rahim Yar Khan. Punjab to provide biscuits with milk in government schools.

Launched as a pilot project under the Chief Minister’s School Nutrition Programme, the scheme aims to tackle malnutrition among schoolchildren.
According to officials, more than 400,000 undernourished students enrolled in 3,527 schools will receive milk on a daily basis.
Moreover, the used milk packs will be collected for recycling, with the proceeds directed towards the welfare and development of the respective schools.
