Prime Minister Imran Khan will now address the country tonight (Thursday night).
Fawad Chaudhry, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, made the announcement in a tweet.
The minister’s one-line tweet provided no additional information on the address.
The prime minister was supposed to address the nation on Wednesday evening, but that was canceled. The announcement was made by PTI leader Faisal Javed. Earlier in the day, Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid stated that the Prime Minister’s address to the country will be crucial.
