Prime Minister Imran Khan, who is facing a difficult situation following the defection of some MNAs from his own party, Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI), and the split of two major government allies, is set to chair the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) political committee meeting in Islamabad shortly today.
He is also set to meet with the governor of the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), National Assembly deputy speaker Qasim Suri, Federal Minister for Aviation Ghulam Sarwar Khan, and MNA Sahibzada Mehboob Sultan.
A meeting with the prime minister is also set for today with ‘estranged’ PTI member of the National Assembly Aamir Liaquat Hussain.
According to reports, PTI MNAs from Sindh will also meet with PM Imran.
Similarly, Abdul Ghafoor Wattoo, NA-166 MNA, Muhammad Farooq Azam, NA-170 MNA, Mubeen Ahmed, NA-175 MNA, and Javed Iqbal, NA-179 MNA, are set to meet with the premier today.
